The YVHA Board has contracted with a new property manager for 2010. Although we were forced to make a decision sooner than antipicated, the Board is pleased to announce that our new property manager will be Dan Donahue of Elite Management, Inc. You may recognize Dan’s name as he was formerly employed by Princeton Management, our previous management company. Dan left Princeton in 2009 to start his own company – Elite Management. He has taken what he learned from Princeton and is aggressively making improvements in the services he can offer his customers. Some of the services he provides will not be visible to homeowners as they are intended for the trustees / directors of the associations that he managers. The Board believes that these services will be quite beneficial in monitoring association business.
There are some services that will be evident to all homeowners. These services revolve around the accounting system that Dan has purchased for tracking associations’ finances. This system will allow homeowners to log in to a secure site and view their account information. In addition, there may be information available on association finances, but the capabilities and limiations of the system have not yet been evaluated.
